What’s Our Problem? A Self-Help Book for Societies
Tim Urban, 481 pages
While not an easy read, a worthwhile read. Urban presents multiple frameworks to explain and to help think about politics and society. The information is presented in a very simplistic style, complete with playful illustrations, yet I found I had to really focus and study the material. At 475 pages, that made it a bit of a slog — and the latter half of the book got long-winded on his criticism of Social Justice Fundamentalism (“wokeness”). However, this wasn’t a blog post turned into a book. It was a thesis he went deep on and it gave me a lot to think about.
