ROOSEVELT ISLAND, NY – March 30, 2013 – We participated in the Roosevelt Island Easter Egg Hunt for little kids this morning. It was mid-40s, sunny but chilly. A large turnout (apparently 200 kids) came out for the event. It was very much like a ride at Disney World. We waited for 40 minutes in line to get through registration. Then the egg hunt took place and it was over in about 30 seconds. I’d say most kids got one plastic egg. For the small toddlers like Tristan, a lady came around and passed out an egg to them. Tristan was serious and tired, but it was nice to get out of the apartment.
