A Man called Ove

This was an interesting read because of how closely it paralleled Forty Story: an old curmudgeon, living alone, distraught with the world, nonplussed with people. While it was finely crafted, I found it predictable. The main character, Ove, also had ADHD-like habits that the author repeated far too often. I get by repeating them you are reinforcing the notion of these peculiar habits, but enough is enough. The ending was a bit Hollywood. While this author may be a superior writer, I found that the inventiveness of Forty Story toppled this novel.
