The Power Law
Sebastian Mallaby, 407 pages
A mostly comprehensive history of Silicon Valley. I found it really interesting given my fascination with VCs and startups, although a bit plodding in spots. It was nearly impossible to keep track of the distinct personality of every person that was introduced – but I walked away with a better understanding of some of the key players and at least name recognition of most. And definitely a better grasp of the VC investment firms. Bundling this book + The Founders + Elon biography and it’s like getting a degree in entrepreneurship.
