Much like Atomic Habits, this is an article stretched to a book. The essentialism concept resonated and is directly applicable to the shortcomings I have when it comes to work. There are some great takeaways and mental frameworks that I hope to incorporate (and not forget). What keeps me from enthusiastically recommending this book to everyone is again, I felt like it was padded – with the Leadership appendix clearly included so he could sell consulting services to companies. Too self-serving for me not to at least roll my eyes as I concluded reading this one.
