Diligently written and ultimately an emotional story. The first 200 pages felt stretched and duplicative. Probably an unfair criticism, but that was my impression. The last 30 pages were more engaging and heart wrenching. I’d like to re-visit Juneau to review the artifacts now that I know the story of this wolf that befriended a community until it was shot by an asshole visiting Alaska from Pennsylvania.
